Bio
Ruchika Bansal joined the master's program in Health Systems Institute in the Spring of 2009. She has a bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Punjab Agricultural University, India. She also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Punjabi University, India. She has worked as an Assistant Manager in the leading Private sector Bank of India- ICICI Bank where she was responsible for process improvement and automation of the internal operations.
Currently, she is working as a graduate research assistant with Emory's Children's Clinic on a joint project between Emory, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Himformatics. The project involves the development of a website for the Young cancer survivors. She is also a member of Society for Health Systems (SHS) and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
