Molly Ford Croft is Director of Development for the Health Systems Institute which is based in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University. As a joint department, she is responsible for the design and implementation of a comprehensive program for fundraising. This unique partnership between a public and a private university is the first of its kind in the country and is currently ranked #3 in the country.
Prior to her present position Molly served as Director of Development for the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, another interdisciplinary-focused program. Here she had similar responsibilities, which included developing strategies and soliciting major gift donors to raise private support.
After graduating from the University of Virginia, Molly obtained her first position in higher education with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in Washington, DC where she served as program director. Molly has authored a chapter in the Academic Unit Advancement Officer Handbook entitled "Establishing and Maintaining Key Institutional Relationships Across Disciplines and Institutions" and has served on a number of Boards, including the Atlanta chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
