Hyungsin Kim is a Ph.D. student in the Human Centered Computing program in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech. She is working on games for health, user engagement in interactive art installation, and the development of design criteria for healing environments with Dr. Ellen Yi-Luen Do. She received a B.A. in Educational Technology from Ewha Women's University and an M.A. in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University. Before coming to Georgia Tech, she worked at Korea University as a researcher in the Adaptive Learning Technologies Group with Dr. Michael J. Jacobson and worked in the DuPont Human Resource Development Group as an e-learning specialist. Her research interests lie in Human Computer Interaction, Tangible Interaction, Educational Software and Games for Health. Currently, she is involved in the CHEROC (Comprehensive Health Encounter Rooms for Onsite Clinics) project and the Grocery Hunter Game.
