GT researchers team up with the CDC to help keep kids’ vaccinations on track
Using computer science and mathematical models, Dr. Pinar Keskinocak with the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial Engineering and her colleagues at Georgia Tech and the Center for Disease Control have created an interactive childhood immunization scheduler. This new downloadable software tool will help pediatricians, parents and other health care professionals determine how to adjust complex childhood immunization schedules when one or more vaccine doses aren’t received at the proper time.
