I joined the MS Health Systems program in 2010 after completing my undergraduate degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a Quality specialization from Georgia Tech. For my Graduate Research Assistantship I work in the Department of Emergency Medicine of Emory University Hospital, where I'm currently creating a simulation of the emergency department to optimize resources and reduce length of stay. In the future I hope to continue to integrate my knowledge of ISYE into the health-care field, and to work hands-on to improve the quality of operations in a hospital. My areas of interest include outcomes and quality analysis, human factors, and integrative health.
