HSI Internal Research Meeting

Dr. Doug Blough and Dr. Mustaque Ahamad, Georgia Tech Information Security Center

Dr. Blough and Dr. Mustaque Ahamad will be presenting their project, Dynamic-Attribute Based Disclosure of Health Information in Emergency Care Scenarios, recently funded by the HSI Seed Grant Program. Other investigators on this project include Dr. Patrick Traynor of the College of Computing and Dr. Jim Jose of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

In addition to Profs. Blough and Ahamad, Profs. Swann and Serban will be giving us an overview of their project entitled, Evaluation and Design or Telemedicine for Screening of Diabetic Retinopathy. Other investigators on this project (also part of the 2009 HSI Seed Grant recipients) are Dr. Claire Barnes of the Department of Opthalmology at Emory University and Dr. Eser Kirkizlar of SUNY, Binghamton.
