The Health Systems Institute at Georgia Tech and Emory University is hosting Governor Sonny Perdue, Speaker Newt Gingrich, Founder of the Center for Health Transformation, and Health and Human Services Secretary, Michael Leavitt, for a press conference and official signing of a statement of support for the Value-Driven Health Care initiative.
The four cornerstones of the Value-Driven Health Care Initiative provide an unprecedented opportunity to lay new foundations for better patient care, higher quality service, and increased value. Please see www.hhs.gov/transparency, for additional information about the initiative.
A dozen CEOs and Presidents of various Georgia companies and organizations will officially sign a statement of support for the "Value-Driven Health Care" initiative, a federal initiative in line with the mission of the Health Systems Institute.
