Phase 1 Problem Identification and Project Formulation
Each Class will include 45 minute lecture and 45 interactive/team process. Weekly or Bi-weekly report and reflection be posted on the web site.

Sep 16 field observations by individual teams, Marvina to present "triage"
Sep 18 CPOE - Dr. Jon Morris, to speak on Sept. 18th regarding Computerized documentation. He will discuss the EMR, order entry and metrics. He does a lot with data on metrics at Wellstar. His data is helping to change processes throughout the system.
Phase 2 Project Development
Week #6 Sep 23-25
Sep 23 - each team presents their "field observation" findings
Sep 25 - each team collect 3 case studies, and related literature and start a preliminary design)
Week #7 Sep 30-Oct 02
Discussion, project development (case study and a preliminary design)
October 2 - presenting the case studies and a preliminary design - Prototype 1 - 8 min each team
Week #8 Oct 07-09
Prototype 2, mid term presentation & review 10/16 (10/11-14 is Fall break)
