Neil is a first year MS HCI Student, in the School of Interactive Computing. He holds a BA in Anthropology and Women's Studies from the University of Iowa [1]. I am interested in the ways technology has (or has not) been deployed in health care and the ways that health technology has been influenced by the historically male dominated CS and Engineering fields. In what ways has CS missed out on the (traditionally female) caregiver's particularities, needs, and interactions with computer technology or other systems?
