• Inventory Management (ensuring ready availability of hospital supplies,

locations, stocking routine, estate tracking, shift and responsibilities)

• Reduction of Transfers (reducing the number of times a patient is

transferred from one place to the other)

• Stress Reduction (for patient, family or staff?)

Assignment: For each topic, define:

(1) statement of the problems

(2) related work

(3) ways to measure outcome (they are all specified in the template document mentioned above)

Each group will then do a short presentation of the 3 issues (and have the 3 doc ready to be posted to the wiki site).
