From Emergency Room of the Future
Today I learned more about designing a hospital. It is amazing how many variables need to be considered in the design of a hospital. It was interesting to learn about the concept of planning for future expansion, green areas for patient rehabilitation, power generation, and layout of departments. I was surprised to hear that efficiency is lost sometimes due to architectural design.
