About the Initiative
The newly inaugurated Center for Healthcare Robotics (CHR) is part of the Health Systems Institute (HSI). CHR represents the robotics side of HSI. CHR's mission is to improve healthcare through interdisciplinary research and education that brings together robotics researchers and healthcare experts.
On June 5th, 2008 we held the first annual Healthcare Robotics Research Summit. We had a great response with researchers and clinicians from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory, Georgia Tech, Shepherd Center, and Spelman College participating.
